Collection: mimiTENS

mimiTENS started out as a line of kid's mittens and has grown to be so much more.
The initial idea behind mimiTENS was to make mittens that stay on.
We continue to do that with joy.

Our biggest move has been to make mittens that work for people with upper limb differences.  Since 2015, mimiTENS has made flat mittens, sold single mittens, accommodated requests for mittens of different sizes - all in support of our friends with upper limb differences.

This year, we introduce some new designs: the Flip Mitten and a complete collection made of double layer fleece.

The Flip Mitten is magic and it works as it sounds.  As limb different kids get older, they would like access to the hands and arms.  The Flip Mitten folds open to give that access and then folds closed to keep the heat in.   Anyone can wear a flip mitten.  It is another example of the benefits of universal design.

The Fleece Collection is wonderful.  We sourced fleece made on recycled plastic that is very soft to the touch and also performs well.
You are going to love them for those crips days when a fully insulated mitten is too much.

mimiTENS are made in Canada.  Our factory is just north of downtown Toronto.
Our products require many inputs and we get most of these from Canadian companies.
Fabrics, labels, hang tags, cut and sew...all bought and done in Canada.
Our sleeves are knit in the USA.
